DIY stuffs

Hi :3

So... I did some DIY in the last 2 weeks.
The business where I have my internship gave me some vintage bags. YAY :D
But for me they were a little but boring, so I searched in the internet for some DIY idea's
and I've found one on pinterest. Here's the link

And this is the result:

I really really like how it turned out. I definitely going to wear this with a romantic white dress I have. GORGEOUS. Can't wait until the weather here is warmer.. Come on spring, show yourself don't be shy ;)

AND I have made a summer short. Well, I think I'm going to use it for the summer..
I used a tutorial of a youtuber called SecretLifeOfABioNerd Yes long name I know
BUT She is great. I've been following her for a few years and she was the one who got me into the DIY's.

The link DIY short video

I did some steps different, I wanted some side seams so I laid the pattern on the other side. The only difference with her  steps and mine is I added another step for the side seams.

The process:

The reason why the back is longer is because I wanted to make the waist of the back higher.
But in the end I didn't liked it so I cut that little piece.

Sewed the side seams together.

Right sides of fabric on top of each other.
And sew the back and front seam.

Added a waist band and that's it. I didn't made a hem because the fabric
stretches a lot when you sew it. And wouldn't look nice.

Looks awesome huh? I really LOVE how it turned out. Like I said I can't wait until the nice warm weather. Spring/Summer HERE I COME.

Bye X

Broken nail :(

HII

After my left hand has been in plaster for 3 weeks my nails got really long.
So I decided to take care of my nails and keep them long.

But this week my nail broke. WHY ME?! My nails are really weak and break really quick.
But I took so much care but till.. No one gives me the chance ;_;

First I filed the length of my nails down and filed the crackle smoother. Brush some Sally Hansen Miracle Cure on top of it and a nice nail polish color. BUT after a few days my nail even broke more..
So I fixed it. I got the idea from youtube but the video isn't available anymore.
So  searched for a similar one and found this. How to fix a broken nail

This one was the most similar I could find BUT instead of super glue I used nail glue, and I didn't grab a new teabag but a used one. Just let it dry and cut the top off. You only need a little piece.

So this is the best thing that worked for me but you still need to be a little careful because it still has a chance to break. But the chance is only smaller now with this tip.

This is how my nail looked like when I was done. You almost don't see it but I still recommend using nail polish. Just to make sure you wont see it and you have some extra protection.

If you didn't try this you really should do that, because it really works. Even when you have really weak nails like me.

For now, byebye

Inspiration

HI :)

So this week my hand is free from plaster and I'm SO HAPPY. I broke my hand 3 weeks ago and I couldn't do much. Just sitting home, with my laptop and just trying to entertain myself with the internet world.
It was my left hand that was broken (my good hand) so I also couldn't draw or paint.
So me bored to death scrolling trough Coldplay music I suddenly remembered a kind of orchestra version of clocks. The music was played by 12 Chinese women who made their version with traditional Chinese instruments. Here's the link: Twelve Girls Band - Clocks

So me listening to this wonderful music I suddenly was thinking about a beautiful dress in nice pastel colors with flowers and stuff. Me and my big fantasy searched trough Google to look for some inspiration (what I always do), and I found some really nice pics.

This is the kinda idea what I had, only with a corset and more layers.

I LOVE the detailing in this dress <3

And my favorite, The Black Wedding Dress. Maybe I'll make something like this too. When I have the time for it :)

I probably going to make this dress in the summer, since it's the only spare time I have for it. Next week I will continue my internship for 6 weeks and after that I'll start with a dress for school. So I have enough to do till the holidays. :) Of course I will post how the dress turned out and also my dress for school. But you have to be patient. ^^

For now, ByeBye

"Bella" look

So.. Today I tried the "Bella Swan Breaking Dawn Part 2'' look. I kinda like it but don't love it. I have a feeling it's too dark. Maybe it's me.. My mom likes it.
I didn't wear this look all day, only this midday and took pictures outside, to see how it looks in day light. But I failed a little. I couldn't face the sun, my eyes started to tear... DANGIT MY MAKE UP. So I only took pictures with the sun behind me. SORRY.
But I like how the pictures turned out. I made them a little prettier with Picasa.. Yesh I'm a noob with making pictures prettier. But I like to give it an other color.  Nothing more actually... I DON'T KNOW MORE... Mostly I just play with it and see how it turns out ^^
I'm off topic.. -_-
So about the make up itself, it didn't took me a long time to do it. I think 15 minutes? It's only 3 colors,
a light color, dark brown and black. That's a positive thing ;)
Well maybe I just need to get used with it. I'll try.
Here the pictures

Bella Swan make up?

So I finally saw Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2. FINALLY. Never had the time to watch it in the cinema so I just watched it on the internet. Bad me :)
But the first moment I saw Kristen (Bella) I was immediately in LOVE with her new make up look. It made her so grown up and still so mysterious. LOVE IT.
And this make up look isn't that hard. I watched some youtube tutorials and for my epicnoobmakeupskills this is pretty easy. So I'm gonna give this look a try and see what it will look. Pictures coming soon.
